Rallying Local Support to Object to the Building of a Housing Estate on Existing Beautiful Fields Through Blogs and Articles
Snowsride.com is a public information site and blog, that is rallying local support to object to the building of a housing estate on existing beautiful fields. We live in a beautiful English village whose character will be destroyed by huge new housing developments. Snows Ride in Windlesham is the name of the leafy country road or lane. The village is Windlesham in Surrey, England.
I primarily work on my own, although I am a member of various local groups with the same interests. I have lived in the village for 27 years, raised a family here, and supported various local community groups.
Their USP is that we are local residents who believe that we have a democratic right to determine the character and design of our local village, which has been in existence since circa 1200 (see Wikipedia entry).
